Creating a Keyphrase, Page or Blog Post Using Athena SEO Pro AI

Drive Traffic with Strategic Keyphrase Content Creation in Athena SEO Pro AI

Unlock the power of AI-driven SEO content with Athena SEO Pro. This guide will walk you through the process of generating a high-performing page or blog post centered around a targeted keyphrase. Perfect for educational content, service pages, or thought leadership, this tutorial helps you leverage AI tools to enhance search visibility and user engagement.

Step 1

Starting on your WordPress Dashboard, hover over Athena SEO Pro. In this demo, we’ll walk through the process of creating a Keyphrase, Generated Content page using Athena SEO Pro.

Step 2

Click “Athena SEO Pro”

Step 3

On the Athena SEO Pro AI Dashboard, you will find options for:

  • Analyze Competitor

  • Generate Content

These tools help you build highly optimized content using AI.

For this demo, we’ll be using the Generate Competitor option. We’ll walk through each input field step-by-step. For our example, we’re generating content for a company called Capital District Digital.

Step 4

In the Keyphrase field, Athena SEO Pro provides autocomplete suggestions similar to Google Search.
For this example, we’ll start by typing “How to use SEO correctly”, and check if a more popular phrase appears in the suggestions.

Step 5

As you type, the autocomplete tool shows top related search terms.
In this case, “How to use SEO effectively” appears as a top suggestion, which better matches our content goals—so we’ll select that one.

💡 Tip: The selected keyphrase becomes both your page title and main heading. Capitalize the first letter of each word for proper formatting.

Step 6

Click “How to Use SEO Effectively” from the dropdown.

Step 7

Because this is a topic-based blog post, the Location and Competitor URL fields are not needed.
You’ll notice they are grayed out and cannot be edited.

In the Content Type dropdown, select “Blog Post”.

Step 8

Click “Generate Content” at the bottom of the page when you’re ready for Athena SEO Pro AI to begin generating content.

This may take a few minutes.
You’ll see real-time updates in the AI Activity Log on the right-hand side as the system analyzes and builds your post.

Step 9

Once content generation is complete, a new draft page is created with your selected keyphrase as the page title and heading.

The content is fully editable and formatted in SEO-optimized HTML following Google’s best practices.

You can now review the draft, adjust formatting and layout, and add images or media to enhance the blog post.

Step 10

Here you’ll see previews of different content sections that were generated by Athena SEO Pro.
